v
Extensive array of design features &
configurations that are standard on UV Research systems
| v
The flexibility to retrofit to almost any press configuration, i
ncluding front or rear exhaust, front or rear side loading cartridge
pull out, as well as our top loading interstation design, that easily
fits between press side frames, are all available at No Additional Cost
|
|
v
IR/UV Combo packages are available
| v For ease of use in some tighter fitting applications |
| v Cool Option Available: NASA approved dichroic coating on reflectors/shutters and Hot Mirrored Quartz barrier glass | v Gives the customer the ability to run heat sensitive substrates (i.e. unsupported films) with a web temperature consistency around 100 degrees Fahrenheit |
| v PLC interface capabilities. Ability to interface our systems with current systems that are already in place | v Allows operator simple, ease of use on entire system. It is also an exclusive UV Research design |
| v PLC Touch-Screen | v Allows lamps to be individually programmed for shutter timing and ramping speeds. Allows fully automated system diagnostics. Contains Emergency-Stop for critical shutdown. This is also another UV Research exclusive design and is standard on 2 or more lamp systems |
| v Exhaust Plenum | v Full assembly-ducting system for lamp exhaust. Maintains temperature controlled environment. |
| v Auto Dampers | v Built-in Auto Dampers with temperature controlled feedback. The auto damper digitally maintains a temperature-controlled environment within the lamp housing. Operator able to individually control each auto damper and temperature range via digital read-out on power supply cabinet. |
| v RTD Sensor | v This digital thermocouple system is located inside the lamp housing. It measures air-flow and senses temperature. Sensor reads back to the PLC telling the auto damper when to open and close. Once set, system stays within +/- 5 degree temperature gap. Without device, degradation of bulb occurs much faster and product may not be consistent. |
| v Fused Power Surge Protection and Safety Interlocks | v Fused power surge protection prevents costly electronics replacement. If blower fails, system blows UV fuse via electronic signal in order to protect components. Safety interlocks are set in place to create the highest level of operating safety of the UV system. |
| v Quartz Barrier Glass | v This glass barrier in each lamp system maintains consistent internal lamp temperatures and controls high speed ink misting. |
| v Digital Stabilization Meters | v Patent Pending feature that measures bulb life and digitally maintains voltage level even after energy fluctuation (All microprocessor controlled). |
| v Temperature Stabilization System within Power Supply. | v This internal system controls evacuation of heat by strategically placed and automatically maintained muffin blowers. This controls the evacuation of heat within the power supply. |
| v 2-Year Warranty | v Two-Year Warranty on parts and labor. Standard on all systems. |
| v Elliptically Focused Reflectors | v UV Research design that provides for an extremely focused reflector to maintain calculated UV reflection to provide maximum cure and peak irradiant. UV Research engineered spacing and design of elliptical ridges that are built into the reflectors at calculated points and recesses. Smallest ray of peak intensity=1/2 inch, due to elliptically focused reflectors. |
| v Less than 1% Warranty Call Backs | v UV Research has enjoyed a less than 1% warranty call back on UV systems. Customer service is key. |
